Ans Yes in idle state UE keeps
listening paging messages while it present in on-duration-timer. UE in idle
state have drx is running in in-activity timer running ue not listen any
messages but when inactivity timer is expire and ue move to on-duration timer
it will read paging message.
IMP:- Paging happen in both state idle
as well as connected.

Ans Paging carry 4 types of
information’s (I) any change in system information, (II) any incoming call(MT
CALL), (III) ETWS primary and secondary information, (IV) CMAS Notification.
